1. Routinely clean the face

To overcome dull facial skin, the first thing to do is to clean your face regularly. You are advised to clean your face twice a day, in the morning and at night before going to bed. So that the remaining dirt stuck to the skin is completely lifted, don’t forget to apply toner.

2. Use a moisturizer according to skin type

For those who have dry skin, choose a moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid, dimethicone, glycerin, and lanolin. 3. Wear a natural mask

Using a mask regularly can make the appearance of dull skin look brighter. There are a variety of natural mask ingredients for dull skin, such as:

  • Pawpaw
    A mask made from a mixture of papaya and pineapple is able to lift dry skin and dead skin that causes dull skin. If you routinely do this treatment once a week, your skin will look brighter and more radiant.
    To make this mask, mix 1 teaspoon of fresh pineapple juice in cup of mashed raw papaya. Stir until the two are well blended and then apply to the face and neck for 15-20 minutes. In addition to using a papaya mask, you can also use papaya soap.
  • Egg whites
    Egg whites can also be used as natural ingredients to lighten dull skin. How to use egg whites as a mask is quite easy. Beat egg whites until fluffy and apply evenly to facial skin. Wait until it dries and then rinse with water.
  • Turmeric
    The next natural ingredient that can be used to treat dull skin is turmeric. Turmeric contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory so that it can make the skin look more supple, bright, and radiant.
    To get the benefits of turmeric, mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of yogurt. Stir until completely mixed and apply to the face for 15 minutes and rinse with clean water.

4. Exfoliate

Not only using a mask, you are also advised to exfoliate your face regularly. Exfoliating the face will remove dead skin cells, brighten the skin, disguise wrinkles and prevent clogged pores.

It’s easy, just mix cup of ground coffee with 1 cup of brown sugar, 2 teaspoons of milk, and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix until evenly distributed and apply to cleansed facial skin. Rub gently for at least 3-4 minutes, before rinsing with clean water.

In addition to doing these skin care, protect your skin from sun exposure by applying sunscreen. Exposure to direct sunlight can make the skin look duller, even making the skin tone uneven.
