Hijab in hot weather often triggers feelings of heat, especially for those who are not used to wearing hijab. Even so, you don’t need to worry, because there are various tips for comfortable wearing the hijab even if you are active in a place where the weather is hot.

Hijab in hot weather is not only disturbing comfort, but also can trigger fatigue. However, in fact this can be minimized by choosing the right hijab material and according to the weather conditions.

The Right Fabric to Wear Hijab in Hot weather

The right fabric to wear to wear a hijab in hot weather is the one made from natural fibers, because this material can facilitate air circulation on the skin and absorb sweat.

Here are some types of fabric that are suitable for hijab:

Cotton

Another name for cotton is a breathable textile. Therefore, this hijab made of cotton-based fabric is the right choice when the weather is hot and of course it can absorb sweat well.

Linen

Hijab made of linen is also good to use in hot weather. Besides being able to absorb sweat, this textile material made from plant fibers also provides a cool and fresh sensation, because of its soft texture.

On the other hand, it is not recommended that you wear a hijab made of wool during hot weather. This is because the material cannot absorb sweat, and tends to trap hot air when worn.
